MATTHEW SMITH
Hi, my name is Dr. Matt Smith. I have spent 13 years working in education across elementary, middle school, and higher education, supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally while helping build systems that allow them to thrive. I hold a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Savannah State University, a Master of Science in School Counseling from the University of the Southwest, an Education Specialist degree in Curriculum and Instruction, and a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) in Adult Education from Capella University.
As the Young Men of Distinction Chair for Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc., I mentor young men in leadership, academic growth, and character development, helping them build confidence and purpose. Helping underprivileged children has always been at the center of my purpose, and I believe a child's circumstances should never determine their future. I am passionate about using my experience, compassion, and commitment to provide guidance, resources, and opportunities that empower young people to overcome challenges, discover their strengths, and build brighter futures.
