Monica Manning

Hi, I'm Monica Yvonne Manning! I am a native of Dayton, Ohio, and hold a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Central State University and a Master of Public Administration from Clark Atlanta University. With more than 34 years of experience in public service, I have had the privilege of serving in state and municipal government, intergovernmental and interagency affairs, justice system administration, youth programming, education, healthcare, and affordable housing initiatives for seniors.

Throughout my career, I have been passionate about building bridges between communities, educators, faith-based leaders, and business partners to create meaningful opportunities for others. I believe in the power of collaboration, service, and strong relationships to strengthen communities and uplift people. Outside of my professional work, I enjoy canvas painting, outdoor activities, and traveling. I am also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, and I remain guided by a simple but powerful piece of wisdom from my grandmother: "Your attitude will determine your altitude."
